The instrument is intended for in-vitro diagnostic screening of urine using compatible urinalysis reagent strips at the point of care. Typical settings are hospital wards and bedside testing, emergency departments, outpatient and consulting rooms, dialysis and nephrology units, and mobile or outreach clinics where a bench-top reader is impractical.
