Electrolyte Analyzer

AC9801 Semi-Automatic Electrolyte Analyzer | 5-Parameter Blood Electrolyte Analyzer Measuring K, Na, Cl, Ca and pH with Automatic Calibration for Clinical Laboratories

The AC9801 is a semi-automatic electrolyte analyzer from the AC9000 Series, designed for quantitative measurement of potassium (K), sodium (Na), chloride (Cl), calcium (Ca) and pH in whole blood, serum, plasma and urine. It uses ion selective electrode (ISE) technology with automatic calibration and manual sampling, giving clinical laboratories a compact, reliable and low-maintenance bench-top solution for routine electrolyte testing.

Measuring item: K (potassium), Na (sodium), Cl (chloride), Ca (calcium), pH. Calculating item: nCa (normalised calcium) and TCa (total calcium).

Technology and design highlights:

- Reliable long-life electrodes: the non-glass ion selective electrode is made from imported material and carries a 12-month guarantee. Solid-sealing technology is used for all electrodes to prevent early failure, and electrode replacement and cleaning can be carried out automatically by the instrument. The AC9800 is equipped with an imported advanced pressure sensor tested at 700 psi, with an operating life of generally no less than 3 to 5 years.

- Automatic and intelligent operation: the embedded processor controls testing, calibration and monitoring of the electrolyte status. Intelligent monitoring systems detect the sample, air bubbles, waste liquid overflow alarms and standard liquid level, so the operator only needs to place the sample on the instrument and obtain the test result.

- Advanced and unique flow-circuit design: the unique flow-circuit design draws the sample in large quantities and standardises it before measurement, ensuring the accuracy and stability of the analysis and extending the service life of the electrode. The looped flow circuit repeats sample measurement one after another, reducing sample volume and improving the cleaning procedure to lower cross-pollution.

- Independent and convenient sampler system: a built-in fully automated sampler is integrated with the instrument. Automatic sample detection and computer-controlled pump drive maintain the sampler position accurately, take samples in sequence, mix, clean and repeat measurement steadily.

- Three measures to ensure accuracy: all electrodes are pretreated to ensure repeated accuracy; the automatic calibration and manual calibration of electrodes is handled within the display and keyboard; and the international common calibration method is adopted for sample testing, with QC values displayed and printed after each quality-control measurement.

- Friendly interface and overall data management: menus are shown in simplified English with a YES/NO display key combination and LCD printing. The instrument uses a built-in printer for sample data, calibration data and reference value range, and provides an RS-232 standard interface for communication with external computer and management software.

Typical applications: hospital clinical laboratories, central and satellite laboratories, emergency departments, operating theatres and intensive care units, dialysis and nephrology units, and outpatient or community clinics. Because the instrument works with a sample volume of only 100 uL and delivers results in 25 seconds, it suits paediatric and repeated point-of-care sampling where blood volume and turnaround time matter.

Calibration and consumables: the AC9801 performs automatic calibration and uses Calibration Solution A, Slope Solution B, Electrode Activation Solution and Electrode Deproteinization Solution as its consumables. Calibration Solution A and Slope Solution B are supplied in 400 mL and 200 mL bottles respectively.

Compliance and warranty: ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality certified, IVD and CE marked. Warranty: 12 months for the analyzer, excluding consumables and wearing parts.
