Intended use and applications

These reagent strips are intended for in-vitro diagnostic screening of urine. Typical settings are hospital clinical laboratories, outpatient clinics, emergency departments, dialysis and nephrology units, and general practice. They are consumables and are to be used with the corresponding urine analyzer.

Parameter panel: this is the compact four-parameter configuration (PRO, GLU, pH, SG), suited to rapid routine screening where a minimal panel is sufficient.

Handling and storage

Store the barrel sealed and in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap closed and remove only the strip required for immediate use, so that the remaining strips are not exposed to moisture or ambient vapour. Do not touch the reagent pads. Observe the expiry date on the barrel and discard strips that show discolouration.

Compatibility note

The 800 Urine Analyzer has a strip lockout function that prevents the use of reagent strips from another brand, so use the matching strips for each instrument.
